  Today during our Adult Education Forum, we learned about a new support service being developed in Hays County for suicide survivors, LOSS (Local Outreach for Suicide Survivors). If you'd like to know more about this, I will share contact info. There is great need in our community to support those who have experienced a loss through suicide, due to the isolation, complicated emotions, as well as stigmatization of mental health concerns and suicide in our society. I love that Living Word has the heart to address these difficult and sad situations and willingness to become involved in service to those in need. God bless our friend, Laura Carpenter, who is spearheading this effort in our community. God's work. Our hands.
